  • I'm Indigo (they/them/theirs)

I'm a queer, nonbinary public health professional with extensive experience in project management, program implementation, content creation, and accessible health communication. I apply multidisciplinary evidence, theory, & strategy to collaborate with key stakeholders and community members in promoting equitable health outcomes and countering systemic barriers to access.

My public health roots began in college-based harm reduction, through direct advocacy for a medical amnesty policy on campus and coordinating events to combat the harmful effects of the War on Drugs in America. I was also an advocate for LGBTQ+ resources, community belonging, and trauma-informed activism in a student-volunteer-run center for marginalized students.

    Specializations:

    • LGBTQ+ communities
    • Mental health, stigma, and harm reduction
    • Young adults, adolescents, and youth

    Current Work:

Young Public: Improving health literacy among high schoolers through workshops about misinformation, advocacy, & health promotion via social media.
